Soda Bread

Irish Soda Bread - great with a wedge of butter and jam.

Ingredients
- 300g Wholewheat Flour
- 50g Oats
- 120g Natural Yoghurt
- 165ml Milk
- 1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
Soda Bread prepped for the oven.
Method
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C Fan).
- Mix the dry ingredients together, Wholewheat Flour (300g), Oats (50g) and Bicarbonate of Sofa (1 tsp).
- Add the milk and the yoghurt to the mix and combine.
- Form the mixture into a round disc (it should be tacky, not wet, add more flour if it’s sticky).
- Cut a deep cross into the disc and dust with a little flour.
- Place on a baking tray or skillet and cook for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool before tucking in.
